Co-Pastor
Jonathan Neufeld became Co-Pastor of Charleswood Mennonite on January 3, 2023. He is bi-vocational, also serving Mennonite Church Canada as the Coordinator of Indigenous Relations. He spent 15 years as Pastor of Just Peace and Community Ministry at Seattle Mennonite Church, as well as pastoral stints at Southside Fellowship in Indiana and Bethel Mennonite in Winnipeg prior to joining us at Charleswood. He is married to Melanie Neufeld and they enjoy the rural life of their new home and yard in Oakville. He holds an MDiv from Anabaptist Mennonite Biblical Seminary, a BA from University of Winnipeg, and a BTheology from Canadian Mennonite Bible College (now Canadian Mennonite University).
Anita Epp
Secretary
Anita Epp has been the Office Administer at Charleswood Mennonite Church since 2001. Prior to that Anita’s work experience included office administration at CMU (CMBC), layout and production at Der Bote, and an especially memorable summer working as a carny with an amusement company in Northern Ontario. Anita graduated from CMBC and University of Manitoba. Anita enjoys working with Charleswood’s co-pastors and the opportunities for personal contact with congregational members. Anita likes music, walking/hiking and crosswords.
